How it works

Three pieces. One fleet you can see.

Nothing to install, nothing to wire. One device per boat, one board for your team, and the alert that finds you when you're looking at neither.

  1. The c.technology connectivity device that goes in every hull

    In every hull

A device that costs you nothing

It plugs into NMEA 2000, brings its own SIM and cellular data, and reads position, engine hours, fuel, battery, bilge, shore power and error codes.

  2. Fleet overview on the office screen: three ready, three out, two needing attention

    In your office

One board for every boat you own

Which are ready, which are out and where, which came back needing something, and which one is about to be due for service.

  3. A geofence alert arriving on the duty phone: the hull's own photo and name at the top, how far outside the permitted zone it is, its live position on the map, and speed, fuel and battery

    On the duty phone

    The alert that finds you

A zone breach, a bilge alarm, a fuel drop or a flat battery reaches whoever is on duty in the moment — not at the end of the day.

The device costs you nothing. You pay CHF 10 per connected boat, per month.

What you run on it

Four jobs, one place.

The whole life of one outing, and what it tells you afterwards.

Readiness

Know it's ready before it leaves the dock.

Fuel and battery level, bilge, shore power, open error codes and hours since the last service — per hull, before anybody walks down the pontoon. The boat that came back empty last night is flagged this morning, not discovered at handover.

  • Fuel, battery, bilge and shore power per boat
  • Open error codes and warnings before departure
  • Hours run since the last service
  • One ready / not-ready view across the fleet
Pre-departure checks per boat: fuel, battery, bilge, shore power and open errors, with two hulls flagged

Live watch & alerts

Find out while the boat is still on the water.

Live position for every boat that's out, and a notification the moment something happens: leaving the permitted zone, running too close to shore, over-revving, a sudden fuel drop, a bilge alarm or a dying battery. You can call before it becomes a recovery.

  • Live position for every boat currently out
  • Geofences and zones, including keep-off areas
  • Speed, over-rev, fuel-drop, bilge and battery alerts
  • Notification to the duty phone in the moment
Live map with the permitted zone drawn, three boats inside it and a geofence-exited alert for a fourth

Trip record

The outing writes itself up.

When the boat comes back you already have the route, the duration, the engine hours added, the fuel used and every alert that fired while it was out. No log sheet, no clipboard — and a fuel or damage argument has a record behind it instead of two memories.

  • Automatic route, duration and engine-hour log
  • Fuel used, and whether it came back fuelled
  • Everything that triggered while the boat was out
  • Evidence for damage disputes and insurance claims
Automatic trip record: the GPS track on the lake, duration, engine hours, fuel used and every event that fired while the boat was out

Usage & upkeep

Which hulls earn their keep, and which are due.

Hours run and utilisation per boat, week and season, plus cost against revenue — measured from the boat itself. Service is triggered by hours actually run rather than by a date in a spreadsheet, so the work is booked before a boat strands somebody.

  • Utilisation and hours run per boat, week and season
  • Fuel and consumption trends per hull
  • Cost and revenue analysis across the fleet
  • Maintenance plans driven by real engine hours
Season usage per boat: engine hours run, utilisation and revenue per hull, with service due by hours run

Everything else it carries

The rest of what a fleet needs.

Not headline features — just the things you stop keeping in a folder, a group chat and somebody's head.

  • Geofences & zones

Draw the area a boat may use, and the areas it may not. Breaches alert immediately.

  • Error codes & diagnostics

Live engine and system faults, so a problem is named before the boat is back on the trailer.

  • Documents & checklists

Insurance, registration, handover and service checklists, filed per hull.

  • Logbook & evidence

Every trip, hour and alarm kept, so a claim or a dispute has something behind it.

  • Your team

Shifts, availability and tasks for the people working the dock.

  • An app for whoever is aboard

Guests, crew or staff see the boat they're on and reach you without a phone call.

Straight answer

It is not a booking system. coride marine fleet doesn't take reservations or payments. It tells you the condition, position and history of every boat you own — next to whatever you already use to sell time on them.

Before you ask

The questions we always get.

Does it replace my booking system?

No. coride marine fleet doesn't take reservations or payments. It runs alongside whatever you already use to sell time on the boats, and tells you the condition, position and history of every hull.

What can I actually be alerted about?

Leaving a geofence, running too close to shore, speed and over-revving, a sudden fuel drop, a low battery, a bilge alarm, lost shore power, and live engine error codes.

Does it work on boats without NMEA 2000?

Yes. NMEA 2000 gives the richest data — engine hours, fuel, alarms — but the device also runs standalone for position, movement and battery.

We're a hotel, not a rental business. Does that matter?

No. If the boats are yours and guests or staff take them out, it's the same job: ready, watched, accounted for.

What does it cost to connect a boat?

The device, SIM and cellular data are CHF 0. You pay CHF 10 per connected boat per month, billed yearly, with a 24-month minimum per boat. The web app for your team starts at CHF 49 per month and cancels monthly.

Do I need an installer?

No. It plugs into the NMEA 2000 backbone. No wiring job, no rip-out, no yard time.

Can I try it before connecting a boat?

Yes — 14 days of the full dashboard with a demo vessel, no device and no invoice.

What happens to the device if I stop?

After 24 months of active subscription the device is yours. End a subscription inside the first 12 months and it comes back to us.
